Drive is a film by Nicolas Winding Refn, a US action drama film for 2011. Hossein Amini 's written screenplay is based on the 2005 novel Drive of James Sallis. The movie will show Ryan Gosling as a Hollywood unnamed driver who is a flight driver with the moonlight. His neighbour Irene (Carey Mulligan), and her young son, Benicio, he quickly became fond of. When Standard (Oscar Isaac) their debt-ridden husband is released from prison, both men participate in what is a dumping $1 million heist that endangers the lives of all involved. Bryan Cranston, Christina Hendricks, Ron Perlman, and Albert Brooks are co-stars of this film.

After Siegel read a review from Publishers Weekly, producers Marc Platt and Adam Siegel opted for the source novel. It proved difficult for Amini to adapt the book, for it had a nonlinear narrative. Gosling, one of the top casting choices of Platt, finally took the lead in his action-oriented project.
Gosling played a key role in the production process, including the employment of the film director Refn and of the film designer Beth Mickle. The photograph, which was started on September 25th, 2010 and was shot locally in various parts of Los Angeles, was supervised by Newton Thomas Sigel and ended on November 12th.

A Drive film adaptation was announced in early 2008, with Neil Marshall directing what was called "An Action mystery set by LA," which is planned for Hugh Jackman as a starring vehicle.
